GENIOSIL GF 39
3-Methacryloxypropyltriacetoxysilane. Acts as a bifunctional curing agent and an adhesion promoter. GENIOSIL GF 39 can be free-radically polymerized or incorporated into organic polymers. It is a clear, slightly yellowish, corrosive liquid that is sensitive to light and heat with characteristic vinegar-like odor. As a bifunctional, organically unsaturated molecule, GENIOSIL GF 39 is able to function as a molecular bridge between inorganic and organic substrates. Used in UV and acetoxycuring silicone sealants.
