BYK-1770

BYK 1770 is a silicone-containing defoamer that prevents the formation of microfoam. Particularly suitable for high build systems applied by airless/airmix. BYK 1770 is effective in thick layer systems with airless/airmix application. It prevents foam and is suitable for pigmented systems and clear coatings. BYK 1770 has no negative influence on transparency and gloss in high-gloss systems. Recommended for architectural thick layer systems and industrial coatings. Optimal levels determined through laboratory tests.
