POLYPHASE PW20CR

POLYPHASE PW20CR is a 20% dispersion of 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC) in a controlled release format. It is specifically designed to significantly reduce the leaching of IPB due to exposure of the finished product to water. The controlled release technology also can improve the in-can stability and significantly reduces or eliminates yellowing caused by some conventional IPBC products in certain formulations. Unlike conventional controlled release IPBC preservatives, POLYPHASE PW20CR utilizes a novel encapsulation technology to achieve slow leach characteristics. It is effective against a wide spectrum of mold, mildew, & yeast species. It significantly improves color stability compared with conventional free IPBC-based products. It reduces leaching and provides controlled release of active ingredient. It improves resistance to UV degradation and improves in-can stability compared with non-encapsulated IPBC based products. It is non-sensitizing.
