Wetting and Dispersing Additive for UV curing Systems BYK LP-N 25579 enhances pigment wetting and improves optical properties (color strength, gloss, haze, transparency) due to its outstanding pigment stabilization. Viscosity of the mill bases as well as of the final systems is reduced and thixotropy is avoided. Long-term storage stability without viscosity shift is achieved. It provides equal electrical charge to the pigment particles and thus prevents possible co-flocculation of particles that are not equally charged. Due to the excellent pigment deflocculation particle size is small and particle size distribution is narrow which strongly reduces filtration time. BYK-LP N 25579 is a next-generation wetting and dispersing additive based on controlled polymerization technology. It features extremely strong stabilization properties with various pigments in UV curing systems and shows a good water resistance of the cured film.
