DISPERBYK-2163

DISPERBYK 2163 is a high performance wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-borne coatings and pigment concentrates. As a cost-effective alternative to DISPERBYK-163, DISPERBYK 2163 provides deflocculation of pigments and stabilizes them through steric hindrance. It uniformly charges pigment particles, preventing co-flocculation through electrostatic repulsion and steric stabilization. This leads to flood and float-free color in pigment mixtures, increasing gloss, color strength, transparency and hiding power while reducing viscosity. Specially suited for the Advanced Materials industry, DISPERBYK 2163 improves material properties by enhancing pigment dispersion. Its uniform pigment charging and stabilization results in more consistent material performance. It also allows for higher loading levels of performance enhancing pigments.
