BYK-1786

BYK 1786 is a VOC-free silicone-containing emulsion that effectively removes microfoam generated during application. BYK 1786 demonstrates considerable defoaming effect already during manufacture and after application. It prevents foam formation both during production and use. BYK 1786 combines effective defoaming with easy incorporation and compatibility. BYK 1786 has excellent defoaming effect in aqueous UV systems too. It is exceptionally good at removing microfoam from formulations applied with airless or airmix application methods without affecting transparency or gloss. BYK 1786 is suitable for pigmented and clear coatings.
