CERAFLOUR 970

CERAFLOUR 970 is a micronized polypropylene-based wax additive that is used to improve anti-slip properties in solvent-borne coatings and powder coatings. CERAFLOUR 970 reduces the gloss level and provides an anti-slip effect when used in higher dosages. It also improves adhesion of sealers as well as the protective effect of coatings against moisture. CERAFLOUR 970 is recommended for use in powder coatings based on polyester, epoxy, acrylate and polyurethane to enhance grip and traction properties. As an additive, it can be incorporated at dosage levels between 0.5-5% depending on the formulation and end use requirements. The micronized wax particles help provide anti-slip characteristics that benefit safety and durability in various industrial applications.
