BYK-P 2720

BYK P 2720 is a rheology additive used for enhancing the rheological properties of two-component systems. BYK P 2720 is highly effective when combined with hydrophilic fumed silica. It enables direct control of the initial viscosity of components and application viscosity of entire systems. BYK P 2720 provides spontaneous viscosity build-up after mixing and enables applying materials above the head or on vertical surfaces without sagging. It reinforces networks formed by solid thixotropes. When combined with other additives, BYK P 2720 ensures thick, stable application of materials in layers. BYK P 2720 allows applying protective topcoats, mortars and sealants in thick coats maintaining shape on vertical or inverted surfaces.
