DISPERBYK-2157

DISPERBYK 2157 is a VOC-free wetting and dispersing additive for non-polar solvent-borne and solvent-free systems. DISPERBYK 2157 deflocculates pigments and stabilizes them through steric hindrance, preventing coflocculation which leads to non-floating pigments. Its strong deflocculating effect results in increased gloss, optical density and reduced viscosity. DISPERBYK 2157 is particularly suited for low-polarity systems based on alkyd resins or acrylates. It stabilizes both organic and inorganic pigments, greatly reducing viscosity and enabling higher pigment loading. This provides enhanced performance properties like coverage and durability. DISPERBYK 2157 improves the long-term stability of concentrates and finished products.
