CLOISITE-116

CLOISITE 116 is a natural bentonite additive that improves various physical properties. CLOISITE 116 can reinforce materials and improve CLTE. It is recommended for use in plastics and rubber applications to synergistically improve flame retardancy and act as a barrier. CLOISITE 116 contains less than 15um particle size off white powder with a bulk density of 340g/l and density of 2.8g/cm3. It has a dio1 of 1.25nm as per X Ray results. CLOISITE 116 can enhance durability, flexibility and barrier properties in end products when added to formulations. Its reinforcing properties along with synergistic flame retardancy and barrier improvements make CLOISITE 116 a suitable additive for applications that require long lasting performance under varying conditions.
